Job Description

Job title: Pre-Operations Engineer (E&I)
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP depending on clearance
Salary/ Benefits: Up to £52,000, 26 days holiday and 8 bank holidays, pension scheme
Location: Whitehaven
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Recognized electrical apprenticeship or high in relevant discipline
- Computer literate
- Able to provide evidence of work with commission test documentation
- Experience in working with commissioning test documentation
- Someone happy to travel when required including offshore
- Experience working within the nuclear industry
- Experience on working with large scale projects
- Someone who has great communication skills and the challenging attitude
Ideally applicants should also have:
- HNC L4
- Experience in setting to work

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer, you will be aligned to the Pre-Operations delivery team where you will identify and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy through multiple project phases. You will collaborate with an internal multidiscipline project delivery team and interface with external stakeholders/vendors. You will utilise your experience in your specific engineering discipline to build an operable and maintainability facility to fulfil requirements of the expected operational life.
