Summary of the Role

We're on the lookout for a Tax Manager or Tax Advisor on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week) to support our lofty aspirations for overseas expansion.

You will manage all Company taxes and tax related compliance both in the UK and overseas. You will need to be involved in oversea expansion plans. Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are key for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage the following processes - VAT, PAYE, P11d, Corporation Tax and PAYE Settlement Agreements with ease.
  • Address Tax related Audit queries
  • Manage overseas taxes in various countries
  • Oversee overseas worker requests and audits
  • Cross country operations and compliance
  • Successfully manage all tax risks and mitigation
  • Tax strategy
  • HMRC requests and relations, preparations for the BRM with HMRC and Management of Business reviews
  • Tax advice on various issues and cases
  • Achieve consistently high scores in internal and external tax reviews
  • Continuously improve knowledge and skills, especially in oversea operations
  • Identification of opportunities to enhance processes, streamline workflows, save time or costs

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Work experience in a similar role or in a tax advisory role
  • CTA qualification
  • Strong understanding of the UK tax and tax practices
  • Experience and knowledge of cross-border taxation and willingness to develop further in this area
