Job title: Senior Shielding Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £55,000- £65,000 (DOE)
Location: Bristol, West Cumbria, Warrington, Leicester
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Broad knowledge of radiation transportation codes (MCBEND, MCNP)
- Experience working in shielding in a major project
- Degree in relevant scientific/engineering discipline

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Knowledge of SCALE suite codes
- Experience with Point Kernel codes

Role information:
- Work alongside multi-disciplined teams to achieve project goals
- Produce shielding calculations and reports
- Supervise junior specialists
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and programme satisfaction
- Build relationships with new and existing customers to develop future business opportunities
- Resolve technical and delivery issues
- Ensure health and safety procedures and regulations are adhered to
