Rullion raise over £700 for charity by recycling IT equipment

We are pleased to announce that we have raised over £700 for charity by partnering with SE Recycling, one of the UK’s largest IT recycling companies, who recycle our unused IT equipment in an environmentally friendly way.

All products we no longer need are collected by SE Recycling, who either refurbish the items then redistribute them amongst local community groups or recycle the products in line with the latest government regulations.

This is the second year running that we have partnered with SE Recycling, and we are once again delighted at the opportunity the scheme gives us to further mitigate the impact we have on the environment as a business and preserve the planet for future generations.

We have donated the money we received for the equipment to The Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity aimed specifically at improving the lives of young cancer patients aged 16-24. The money we have donated will help maintain the vital work they do, including financing specialist units in hospitals, training doctors and nurses and organising trips for patients.

Matthew Hart, Finance Director at Rullion, had this to say of the initiative:

“We are thrilled to once again be part of SE Recycling’s programme and the opportunity it gives us to support charities like the Teenage Cancer Trust, who do vital work improving the lives of young cancer patients. We are also inspired by the chance this gives us to protect the planet for future generations as we’re passionate about creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable world”.
