Job title: CE&I Responsible Engineer

Job Type: Contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Start date: Subject to clearance

Duration: 12 months rolling contract

Pay rate: DOE

Location: Whitehaven

Hybrid: Working onsite 3 days per week minimum

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Role information:

  • Produce and review CE&I plans, drawings, and deliverables in line with project requirements
  • Manage design documentation including technical specifications and drawings
  • Coordinate configuration management of engineering deliverables and site works
  • Liaise with designers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and construction standards
  • Provide technical updates and progress reports
  • Plan and prioritise work, resolving technical challenges as they arise
  • Use AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D scanning tools to support design accuracy
  • Contribute to design and constructability reviews with practical site input

Qualifications/Experience Required

HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Experience operating as a SQEP Responsible Engineer (RE)
  • Strong plant knowledge and operational site experience
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capability
