Business Transformation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Transformation Project Manager to drive strategic transformation initiatives within our energy company. This role is critical in leading cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, optimise business processes, and support the company's transition towards sustainable and innovative energy solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, business transformation, and business process improvement within the energy sector or similar industries.
It is a three-month rolling contract with real potential for it to be extended. The role is Hybrid, with one day a week being based in their Solihull office. It is a full-time role, 40 hours per week.
Accountabilities:
* Lead and manage end-to-end business transformation projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, timelines, and budgets.
* Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to define project objectives and secure buy-in.
* Identify opportunities to improve business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive cost savings.
* Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
* Establish KPIs and success metrics to track the impact of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates to leadership.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
* Work closely with IT and digital teams to implement new technologies that enhance business capabilities.
* Support the company's transition to renewable energy and digital transformation by identifying innovative solutions and industry best practices.
* Understanding gaps between knowledge and process
* Able to create plans to bridge those gaps
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong experience in project management, business transformation, or operational improvement within the energy sector or a related industry.
* Previous knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
* Proven experience managing large-scale transformation projects from initiation to completion.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar software.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent
