Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Industry Data Managment - Analyst on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Solihul

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Insights: Gather customer data and gain valuable insights into customer needs, enhancing service delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in reviewing and adapting internal processes in response to changes, implementing new work approaches to improve efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive internal process and procedural improvements to streamline operations and increase effectiveness.
  • Effective Planning: Demonstrate strong organisational skills, ensuring smooth workflow and meeting deadlines.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to company Health & Safety and DSE policies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all actions and behaviours comply with regulations, always treating customers fairly.
  • Customer Query Resolution: Investigate and respond to complex customer queries, liaising with relevant stakeholders to provide timely and effective resolutions.
  • Data Quality: Amend data errors, address process exceptions, and provide feedback to front-line teams to improve data quality.
  • Transaction Processing: Manage complex transactions across various functional areas to ensure accurate information processing.
  • Workload Management: Provide regular updates on progress and manage workload priorities to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Policy Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and company policies, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements to local working practices.
  • Process Failure Support: Assist in resolving process failures where data flows have failed to load, ensuring all relevant information is updated.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster strong communication with key stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an ability to identify discrepancies in data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring positive customer interactions and effective collaboration.
  • Effective prioritisation and organisational skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven experience in customer service and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in IT applications, especially Excel, to manage and analyse data.
  • A minimum of 6-12 months' experience in a similar role.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience within the energy sector would be advantageous, though not essential.
