We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to work for a well respected retail client based in Liverpool

As Business Analyst you will be part of a business transformation, initially focusing on Finance, but moving onto a wider business transformation programme of work. You will work closely with all business and IT colleagues across the organisation to ensure all necessary details are collected in support of initiatives and projects commencing.

You will construct detailed requirements fit for purpose as well as establishing clear scope with business and IT colleagues, utilising various approaches and methodologies

In this role at any level, you will:

  • Collate requirements from multiple points around the business, documenting and communicating these reliably and accurately to the wider team including direct communication with developers
  • Be the key colleague in scoping, assessing, and prioritising projects and components for large scale, high impact development projects
  • Able to present project work to the wider team for development, and will see these projects through to completion, providing additional support as required
  • Play a key role in the coordination and successful execution of user acceptance testing and rollout of changes

A bit about you:

  • We are seeking a passionate, ambitious individual with first-rate communication skills
  • You must have previous experience as a BA and preferably within a multichannel Retail environment. This is important to enable you ensure the needs of both business and customers are considered and captured to ensure the right outcomes are achieved
  • Experience of Finance transformation would be beneficial
  • You will have worked in multi-disciplined teams in a large-scale, fast paced business, that are a mix of business, delivery and technical roles
  • Practical experience of working with a variety of methodologies
  • The ability to work within a multifaceted and changing environment where priorities and activities will be changing is vital. You will be able to respond energetically and proactively to drive change at a fast pace to help deliver the business strategy
  • You will be an outstanding leader and role model within your team, demonstrating a strong delivery ethic using a variety of delivery principles
