Job Description

Job title: Project Manager (CS&A)
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £60,000 - £85,000 per annum DOE + Benefits
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Hours of work: 38 Hours Mon-Friday

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Understanding of managing a project through full lifecycle
- 5-10 years within a similar role
- Degree in engineering or HND in relevant discipline
- Experience of management and mitigation of delivery risk
- Experience managing the supply chain

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartered status
- MCIPS qualification
- APM or Prince2 qualification

Role information:
- Work with key stakeholders in order to deliver the allocated procurement packages
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle
- Manage and mitigate delivery risk and ensure the projects remain within budget
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Maintain an effective filing and records retrieval system
- Report on cost trends
- Manage procurement budgeting
- Liaise with the supply chain partner to agree supply and shipping strategies
- Ensure package reporting is carried out to an agreed schedule
