Service Delivery Manager
Inside IR35
Rullion Limited have an exciting contract opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Manager to join one of our well respected clients within their Banking Division.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for supporting the representation of overall service provision from within IT Shared Services to the business units within the bank. The role will work closely with a Senior Service Delivery Manager to monitor the performance of technology functions within ITSS on behalf of the business units to ensure ITSS technology functions are delivering service levels in line with agreed expectations.
A typical day for the Service Delivery Manager will revolve around a number of key areas: Service Delivery, Customer Experience, Continuous Improvement and Risk and Compliance.
You must be able to hit the ground running, be self-sufficient and have proven experience of working in a similar role.
Essential
- Service Management experience gained within a complex business
- Demonstrable expertise of implementation of the ITIL framework
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Develops trust and positive relationships with all stakeholders and peers
- Easily adapts to changing requirements & needs
- Good negotiation & sound decision making skills
- Works well and remains calm under pressure
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Client centric who always puts the customer at the heart of everything we do
- Proven experience of managing suppliers against service delivery commitments
- Good influencing skills and unafraid to have difficult conversations regarding service delivery
- Strong planning
- Highly self-motivated individual who can work in a high-pressured environment
- Ability to prioritise multiple different tasks and execute to a high standard in a changing work environment
