Desktop Support Engineer
Inside IR35
Rullion Limited have an short term contract opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer to join one of our well respected clients within their Vehicle Hire Division.
Your responsibilities as a Desktop Support Engineer will be to provide 1st/2nd line support to approx 100 users. The role covers hardware, software, network and printer support and you will also be required to provide remote support to a small number of home-based users.
In order to succeed in this role it is essential that you have the following experience:
- Wintel build experience. Windows 10 and 11.
- Application support - Office 365 and Office 365 Admin (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Azure Active Directory Support & Domain Active Directory Support
- Intune experience
- Familiarity with iPhones and mobile technologies
- Understanding of Helpdesk ticketing systems - logging, updating and resolution
- Wi-Fi setup
- Basic network cabling and patching
- Basic understanding of IP technologies - IP Address, DHCP, DNS
- Understanding of server backups and backup checking
- Familiarity with Anti-Virus products and concepts
- Familiarity with Windows updates and patching
- Setup of VPN client for remote users
