Job Description
Job title: HAZOP Chair
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: £100 p/h PAYE
Location: Remote Working with Occasional Travel to Devonport
Fully Remote Working with Occasional Travel
Hours of work: Up to 40 Hours Per Week
Role information:
* Organise and lead HAZOP sessions through the identification and evaluation of hazards relating to nuclear operations
* Gather data by liaising with engineers, the safety team and other key stakeholders
* Prepare and review HAZOP documentation ensuring they are compliant with standards
* Conduct risk assessments based on HAZOP findings
* Provide training to on HAZOP methodologies to team members
* Ensure HAZOP studies meet local and international nuclear safety regulations and standards
Qualifications/Experience Required:
* Bachelors in Nuclear, Safety or Chemical engineering or related field
* Experience in nuclear safety, risk assessment or related field
* Certifications in safety management or risk assessment (HAZOP, ISO 31000 etc)
* Strong understanding of nuclear safety principles, HAZOP methodologies and risk assessment practices
UK National Security Vetting Status - Applicants must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.
