Job Description

Job title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 18 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Competitive
Location: Aldermaston - Hybrid available 1 day on site per week
Hours of work: 40 hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Construction experience
- Highly regulated industry experience
- NEC3/4 contract management experience
- Chartered status or working towards
- Cost and budget planning experience
- Experience in negotiating tenders

Role information:

- Collate NEC forms of contract and other commercial documents for procurement
- Develop contract cost models and performance management methods for use in contract documentation
- Ensure contract documentation complies with project briefs, timescales and budgets
- Manage the commercial evaluation and negotiation of tenders
- Records and utilise cost data for use with future procurements and benchmarking
- Identify any commercial opportunities
- Mitigate risks during the procurement phase to ensure standards are met
