Job Description

Job title: Supply Chain Officer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Location: Aldermaston
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Previous experience managing and implementing a governance and compliance service for procurements
- Experience of governance processes within a commercial or procurement setting
- Experience working on high value, complex procurement projects
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Able to organise, plan and implement project tasks
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Strong knowledge of PCR 2015
- CIPS level 4

Role information:

- Participate in reviews of SCM processes and systems
- Escalate issues when required
- Manage and maintain SCM data through systems, supplier records etc
- Facilitate governance reviews and audits
- Provide performance reports
- Manage SCM related risks
- Prepare inputs to annual cost forecasts
- Collate internal and external feedback on the supply chain function
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure queries are resolved quickly
