Job Description

Job title: Quality Engineer
Job type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 6 months rolling contract
Pay rate: Depending on experience
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours of work: 37 hours, Monday-Friday

Applicants must posses the following:
- Demonstrable engineering, business management, manufacturing or related field experience
- Nuclear industry experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834 and EN1090
- Lead auditor in ISO 9001
- 6-Sigma experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Membership in relevant professional body or willing to obtain
- Able to attain SC clearance

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance or related field
- Engineering qualifications

Role information:
- Review client specifications
- Produce project quality plans
- Review and approve MITPs
- Produce and approve project specific quality procedures
- Carry out project reports
- Support audits
- Monitor supplier performance
- Review documentation and carry out physical inspections
- Manage non-conformance reports
- Ensure compliance with project processes and procedures
