Job title: Health and Safety Advisor
Job type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Pay rate: £17.95-£28.08 per hour PAYE / £24.38-£38.15 per hour Umbrella
Location: Thurso, Caithness
Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must posses the following:
- Experience of construction site management
- Accredited training for construction safety
- CITB/IOSH certificates
- CDM compliance experience
- Temporary works supervisor or coordinator experience
- Relevant NPORS/CITB training and construction industry experience

Role information:
- Review and comment on contractor documentation and site management system documents where required
- Provide industrial H&S advise to site construction and demolition projects
- Advise and assist projects with the preparation of pre-construction information
- Mentor other H&S advisors on construction and CDM regulations
- Deliver H&S training
- Liaise with stakeholders on H&S issues
- Undertake and report on planned and unplanned H&S inspections, highlight issues and suggest remedial actions
