Job Description

Job title: Cost Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 15 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Competitve
Location: Aldermaston - On site once or twice per month
Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- SC clearance
- Proven success in a Project Controls environment or similar cost role
- Proficiency with Cost tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Build working relationships
- Understanding of cost and schedule requirements

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartered or equivalent status

Role information:
- Comply with relevant processes and procedures
- Prepare, monitor and control forecasts and budgets
- Support system interrogation and performance measurement of expenditure and performance
- Provide inputs to cost reports and trend analysis
- Support SPI and CPI variance analysis and route cause analysis
- Support the creation of the project cost breakdown structure
