Job Description
Job title: Quality Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £63,000 per annum
Location: Seascale, Cumbria (Hybrid working available. *Please note occasional travel to Warrington may also be involved*)
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
Applicants must posses the following:
- Experience in a quality management and project construction environment
- Member of the CQI
- 10 years experience in a quality role or related environment
- 5 years team management experience
- Trained lead auditor (ISO 9001)
- Demonstrable experience in construction or civil engineering standards and methodologies
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Experience working in the nuclear industry
Role information:
- Ensure quality management systems meet stakeholder requirements and enable delivery to meet customer specifications
- Assist in the delivery of nuclear safety education packages where required
- Provide confirmation that products meet specifications through verification of outputs
- Develop and implement effective risk based assurance plans
- Escalate quality issues as they arise
- Lead and undertake inspections and audits
- Implement and report on key performance indicators (KPI's) that demonstrate the quality of delivery performance
- Implement improvement plans and strategies where needed
- Monitor and manage adherence to the project quality strategy
