Pay rate: £20.50 per hour, PAYE/Umbrella rates available

Location: Gloucester

Hours of work: 5 days per week (37 hours per week)

Our client, who are leading in the nuclear generation industry now have an immediate requirement for an Delivery Support Officer to join their team in Gloucester. Establishing yourself into the Nuclear Security Division, you will be at the forefront of ensuring operations run as smoothly as possible.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • Previous engineering, project management or large infrastructure experience or knowledge is essential.
  • Hold an relevant qualification.

Role information:

  • Using P3M techniques, support Nuclear Security SMEs focus on delivery by providing simple, enabling services to allow Nuclear Security to understand its delivery progress and better manage risks to delivery.
  • Support Nuclear Security managers' licensee engagement by presentation of data and performance indicators relevant to each licensee, working with Ops Support, Security Assurance Analyst.
  • Coordinate licensee accountability pack inputs from across Nuclear Security (and other Nuclear Services branches where required, eg PWRT I&C).
  • Provide Management Information to support HoSSD and Nuclear Security Manager focus on delivery progress, risk management and change management within Nuclear Services and licensee processes.
  • Collate and manage an integrated view of Nuclear Security delivery progress and plans for all licensees on a 10 year horizon, working with and supporting branch SME leads/project managers, and other Nuclear Services branches.
  • Support HoSSD in administration of risk management and change management within Nuclear Services.
  • Work with HoSSD, Branch Managers and Admin & Finance Officer to ensure delivery and delivery risks are appropriately costed, to deliver maximum value for each licensee and collectively.
  • Support HoSSD develop simple, clear methods to manage licensee demands from identification through to delivery, including resource management.
