Job Description

Job title: Senior Project Manager
Job Type: Permanent / Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent / Contract
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Depending on experience
Location: Sellafield
Hours of work: 37 Hours Mon-Friday
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Professional qualification in project management/controls, scientific or engineering discipline to BEng level
- Minimum 5 years project management experience
- Minimum 5 years experience managing projects through their full life cycle
- Chartered status desirable
- Strong commercial experience
- Nuclear experience
- Hold a CSCS Card or the ability to obtain
- Experience working on large complex projects

Role information:

- Coordinate and deliver a project through its full project lifecycle
- Manage the project team to ensure plans are delivered safely and efficiently
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure cost and quality targets are hit
- Balance project priorities
- Evaluate and manage risks
- Provide training and mentoring for less experience project leads/ junior PMs
- Provide handover of the project upon completion
- Lead problem solving efforts and ensure project delays are minimal
