Job Description

Job title: Junior Project Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £30,000-£38,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven - Hybrid available
Hours of work: 37 Hours Mon-Friday

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- 3 plus years of project experience
- Able to obtain security clearance
- A formal project management qualification
- Experience in a multi-disciplined team

Role information:
* Work with internal business development to prepare successful bids.
* Production of documentation in support of contracts and tenders.
* Ensuring that all documentation and reporting is produced on time and according to the CUK standards. Financial reporting of small projects or supporting the Project Manager in the definition of the financial reporting documents/ accruals
* Working with the finance team for monthly invoicing of projects
* Working with the planners and project controls teams to ensure up to date information is available
* Support development of risk register and risk reviews
* Supporting successful delivery of the project to meet client deliverables.
* Deputising for the Project Manager when required.
* Identifying, escalating and managing any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk at the earliest opportunity.
* Ensuring the scope of projects is delivered safely, at the right quality on time and to budget.
* Contributing to assembly of the project delivery programme and delivery plans.
* Closing out the project on completion, archiving project documentation, updating market information, ensuring that lessons learnt are captured and disseminated internally and ensuring that a Client Satisfaction survey is initiated.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with client and client Management Systems.
* Participating in and supporting stakeholder engagement activities.
