Job Description

Job title: Engineering Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Remote working with occasional travel to sites as required.

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Engineering Degree
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project delivery
- Experience in leading multi-discipline bids and proposals
- Experience of supply chain management
- Highly regulated Industry experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Experience in supporting the development of supply chain strategies for Large projects

Responsibilities:
*Technical leadership and delivery of medium and large multi agency (and discipline) design (>£1m) and/ or design and build projects (>£5m).
*Responsible as bid Manager or technical lead on major project bids.
*Lead the development of bid-winning engineering execution plans utilising client, companies and supply chain partners. Influence selection of suppliers and partners on major bids and input into the overall supply chain strategy for the company.
*Act as Intelligent Customer and manage client technical partners and supply chain to achieve successful delivery.
*Represent company at client progress/ technical meetings.
*Identify and develop new engineering business opportunities. Work alongside the Engineering Business Manager and other senior leaders in the company to define new product/ services to be offered to the market
*Pro-actively manage project technical risks.
*Support internal project and technical accountability reviews.
*Mentor and develop engineers to increase companies capability.
*Recruitment of staff and contractors to support project delivery.
*Author, contribute, check and approve technical deliverables to a consistently high standard.
*Act as a technical independent on internal technical reviews.
