Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Cleator Moor, Cumbria
Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Days of work: Monday - Thursday or Monday to Friday

Role information:

- The role will undertake all administrative work on behalf of both internal and external customers.
- The tasks will also include any project typing, copying, along with other activities requested by line management, i.e., covering reception as and when required.
The role will perform a range of admin and clerical duties, deliver on commitments to agreed levels of quality, time and to schedule.
- The role requires a thorough understanding of department processes and procedures, undertaking initial investigations into problems and producing statistical summaries as requested.

Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties within a department to ensure
- the smooth running of the department.
- Process a wide range of documents and information received from a range of sources,
- including reconcile records to ensure accuracy of data and the system.
- Identify and carry out initial investigation into discrepancies and shortages, involving statistical information, document control or physical stock control.
- Collate and extract data and produce routine reports, schedules, summaries, and letters for internal circulation or for customers and suppliers.
- Build relations with stakeholders, customers and suppliers and exchange information to clarify a situation, e.g., placing orders, arranging appointments, deliveries, etc.
- Verify calculations, check, or allocate costs, check & obtain correct authorisation, and obtain information for incorrect or incomplete documents.
- File documents and keeps filing systems up to date such that information can be readily retrieved for others.
- Provide travel booking support to the business.
Qualified to GCSE level in a minimum of English, and/or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.
The job holder must have excellent communication skills and be able to use a computer for word processing and spreadsheets.
Trained to use of Microsoft Office & switchboard for cover purposes.
