Job Description

On behalf of our client, one of the world's largest engineering organizations, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within their worldclass Healthcare division on a Night Shift basis.

Long term contract, paying competitive market rates.

Job Specification:

To be part of the Engineering department driving effective Process Management, continuous improvement and provide engineering / technical support for manufacturing operations.

Responsibility/Tasks:

To be part of an Engineering department driving effective Process Management, and Continuous Improvement with regards to, but not exclusively the following:
- To repair in a timely manner manufacturing and process equipment
- To Control repairs on Electronic Device History record system.
- Deliver rapid response, to asset availability in line with the expectations of manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all processes are available to Production Operations as and when desired.
- Deliver rapid response, to asset availability in line with the expectations of Manufacturing Operations.
- Report Process uptime including breakdowns and ensure reaction and countermeasures are in place at the first attempt where possible (Permanent corrective action)

Use of manufacturing tools:

- Effective use of CAPA / IR- TPM implementation of both FLM (First Line Maintenance) and PM (Preventative Maintenance).
- Use of SAP, e-DHR and database application
- Create deviations
- Lead risk / pFMEA assessments

Manufacturing documetation:

- Document control process
- Review and update process procedures as required.
- Review and update maintenance and calibration procedures as required.

Competencies:

Manage time efficiently to meet reactive business demands

Ability to self manage tasks

Work in a team

Experience in Engineering/Maintenance

Electronic/Electromechnical knowledge

Fundamental aspects:

Experience in an engineering / maintenance or fault finding discipline
Electronic / Electromechanical knowledge essential
Use of office applications (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
Project management skills desirable, but not essential
manage scheduled maintenance via computer maintenance management systems
Quality awareness
ONC/HNC/HND in an engineering discipline desirable
Electronic background - Able to understand schematics and electronic components
Electromechanical knowledge - Good understanding of electro/mechanical principles
Electromechanical knowledge - Good understanding of Vacuum & Pressure system principles
Technical documents - Must be able to understand technical drawings and documentation
