The Role:
Directly support Ceres in the development of its solid oxide technology. Translate design verification and product validation requirements supplied by product development teams into executable test plans. Plan and organise the execution of development testing and associated data analysis. You will be directly responsible for turning design verification requirements into executable test plans and planning for the analysis and reporting of results from test data.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Translate design verification and product validation requirements supplied by product development teams into executable test plans
  • Collaborate with the Test Operations team during planning and execution of tests to overcome test hardware limitations and resolve data quality issues
  • Develop a library of standard test methods that improves the efficiency of test planning and enables the growth of consistent and relevant test datasets
  • Advise the processes of design verification and product validation on best statistical practices and continuous improvement of the quality of test measurement data
  • Collaborate with the Data Analysis team to develop and maintain software tools and databases for test data analysis
  • Communicate test plans and test results to project teams in presentations and reports

What a great candidate looks like....
The successful candidate for this position will have the curiosity to delve deep into problems, strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work under pressure to deliver on time.

  • 2 years' experience in a product development test environment with involvement in the design, planning and management of tests
  • Experience in a relevant sector, such as electrochemical products, power generation, process engineering or automotive
  • BSc/MSc or BEng/MEng in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience in or familiarity with requirements management, V&V definition and SysML
  • Knowledge and experience of processing data Matlab
  • Qualification or demonstrable knowledge in Six Sigma statistical techniques and design of experiments
  • Eagerness to develop, document and apply detailed process flows
