Job Description
Job title: Cost Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £D.O.E
Location: Cumbria
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- 12 months experience
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Project controls experience
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Relevant qualifications relating to Cost Engineering
Role information:
- Forecast, trend and analyse software, hardware and construction costs
- Identify cost variance and notify relevant parties of any issues as they arise
- Forecast the impact that risks may have on the final estimate at completion
- Liaise with project controls personnel to ensure the quality of project controls
- Produce cost reports
- Attend progress reviews
- Maintain the accurate reporting of cost control data
