M365 Service Support Engineer
About the role
"We are currently seeking a customer focussed 1st/2nd Line M365 Support Engineer for our Microsoft M365 enterprise environment and to process end-user queries and service requests for over 3000 users. You will be tasked with supporting various M365 products and transformational changes. You will be working under the direction of the M365/Azure Team Manager alongside a small core team of administrators and service support personnel. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new team establishing an M365/Azure service seeking to deliver an excellent user experience, for an organisation adopting and exploiting the infrastructure. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for interacting directly with end-users and other IT services functions, including 3rd parties. The role provides a great opportunity for an M365 career and technical skills development."
About you
- Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 core platform, including Teams, SharePoint, Office applications, Yammer, Stream, and non-service specific, such as licensing, access. management, monitoring, reporting, governance controls, log management etc. (Essential)
- Experience with M365 tenant administration, including managing user accounts, creating Teams, Groups, SharePoint sites etc. (Essential)
- Customer-centric and strong problem-solving skills. (Essential)
- 2-years of experience with M365 or other IT Services in a user-facing technical support capacity. (Desired)
- Previous experience with Ticket or Service Management. (Desired)
- Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory and its interoperability with M365. (Desired)
- Experience working with in a service performance measured environment. (Desired)
- Basic knowledge of PowerBI reporting and monitoring. (Desired)
- Basic knowledge of PowerApps and PowerAutomate. (Desired)
- Microsoft certifications or equivalent. (Desired)
