Job Description
Job title: Principle CS Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £65-£70
Location: Chorley
Applicants must have experience of the following:
-Must have DV security Clearance
-Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline
-IOSH managing safely or former HSE qualification
-10 years experience at senior technical level across multi discipline engineering projects
-Detailed knowledge of key engineering documents and their structure
-Familiar with CAD designs ,products and software
-Preperation of records/reports
Interpretation and evaluation of technical engineering data
-Familiar with radiological protection/management and operation
-Must be security cleared
Ideally applicants should also have:
-Membership of appropriate professional institute
-NEBOSH
Role information:
To provide technical knowledge, leadership, guidance and support to deliver projects, ensuring that all actions, activities and outputs underpin the integrity, expertise and competency of the Company.
-Oversee and originate concept designs / engineering studies in order to develop effective solutions and subsequently prepare and present these proposals direct to stakeholders and colleagues
-Provide design and engineering guidance to colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers and clients as appropriate, by means of formal explanation of, but not limited to, the following:
-option studies design concepts, drawings, calculations, reports and related materials / documentation
-applicable engineering processes, procedures and methods
-relevant data, theory, formulae and standards
-Liaise with internal and group company colleagues to provide, but not limited to, the following:
-originate, prepare and deliver engineering proposals, option studies and reports
-oversee packages of work which develop and deliver engineered solutions
-attend and contribute to engineering meetings and organise and chair formal design reviews
-check, review and approve engineering deliverables and outputs and provide constructive feedback
-respond to any appropriate enquiry with an informed assessment to advise, guide and effect the appropriate course of action
-Liaise with internal and group company colleagues to provide, but not limited to, the following:
-originate, prepare and deliver engineering proposals, option studies and reports
-oversee packages of work which develop and deliver engineered solutions
-attend and contribute to engineering meetings and organise and chair formal design reviews
-check, review and approve engineering deliverables and outputs and provide constructive feedback
