Job Description

Job title: Principal Architect Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £90/hr Umbrella Depending on experience
Location: Devonport - Hybrid available
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Degree qualified in architecture or relevant field
- Experience of working with highly complex buildings in nuclear or other highly regulated industry
- Minimum 10 years experience
- Able to gain SC clearance
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartership status

Role information:

- Manage the architectural elements of facility upgrades
- Ensure designer technical performance
- Provide subject matter expert advice for architecture
- Provide design guidance and review of design packages
- Ensure design documentation covers scope and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget
- Contribute to the projects technical planning process
- Ensure effective quality management processes are implemented
- Ensure process and activities are appropriately documented
- Ensure health and safety processes and procedures are adhered to
