Rullion are working with a leading engineering company within the Process industry, who are seeking a Process Engineer to join their Projects team based at their client's Pharmaceutical facility in Ulverston, Cumbria.

You will be responsible for process engineering and commissioning activities at the Ulverston site, which is a primary manufacturer of Cephalosporin antibiotics. The project portfolio will be varied and covers process safety and process control improvements. There may also be a requirement to get involved process engineering activities for utility systems (air, steam, nitrogen, process water etc).

Role & Responsibilities
You will develop project deliverables for various process and utility projects. Activities include (indicative list):

Ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

Producing, reviewing, verifying and approving calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports

Producing, reviewing, verifying and approving technical specifications, assessing tender returns and providing technical support to those packages throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning phases of the project to ensure that the design intent is maintained.

Work with multi-functional team to achieve project goals.

Author and implement commissioning protocols

Presenting designs and involvement in hazard identification and HAZOP studies.

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to meet their requirements (e.g. Production, Engineering, EHS)

Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Degree qualified (engineering / science related)
-
Demonstrable experience post degree qualification covering a range of engineering and/or technical topics
-
Commissioning experience essential
-
Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry required

Must be able to work under pressure and co-ordinate multiple activities concurrently.

Excellent IT and communication skills

Great organisational skills
-
Confident decision-making ability
