Supply Chain Analyst

Duration - Starting February 2021, rolling contract up to 6 months in duration
Location: Manchester Office based for initial training period, candidates will then be able to work from home for some/all of the reminder of the contract (dependent on business needs)
Pay Rate; £12.00 per hour PAYE
Working Pattern; 37.5 hours, 5 days over 7 with occasional weekend work (roughly one weekend day per 5/6 weeks)

Role Overview
Acting on behalf of my client, The Coop Group I am seeking x3 Supply Chain Analysts to join the team and support the replenishment of Coop stores. This is an excellent contract opportunity to work with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

As a supply chain analyst, it'll be up to you to make sure Coop have the correct availability across their Store estate by managing the transition of goods from depot to store. You'll have a significant impact on customers, as it'll be your responsibility to make sure Coop have the right stock in the right place at the right time.

What you'll do
?
Work collaboratively and build strong and positive relationships with the franchise, retail and supplier teams
?
Identify and resolve customer facing availability opportunities
?
Produce sales forecasts and demand plans
?
Analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources to provide insight and decision making
?
Work within agreed KPIs

This role would suit candidates who are able to demonstrate the following.
?
Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to analyse data and provide actionable insight
?
Previous forecasting experience
?
Excellent relationship building skills, able to engage and collaborate with a
?
Variety of people across the business
?
Experience working in a large retailer or FMCG business would be an advantage
