JOB TITLE: Senior Field Service Engineer

LOCATION: Seascale - This role position is a Field Based position. Therefore travel to various client sites is required as and when the business requires this. This role will also have an element of remote working from home.

RATE: £33,000 - £40,000 plus Company Car allowance, Pension Scheme and a comprehensive benefits package

- Working knowledge of Nuclear radiation measurement techniques and instruments is essential for this position and will include gamma spectroscopy
- Recognised Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum of a HNC in Electronics
- Previous experience of working on Nuclear Licenses sites with current security clearance.
- The successful applicant will be highly organised with both excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will report directly to the RPI Team Leader and the successful application will require the significant ability to operate, service, calibrate and repair sophisticated software and systems. You will be accountable for areas of safety, quality, security and environmental requirements as well as day to day completion of work tasks. The role will require regular and close interaction with other members of the UK Services team locally, nationally and globally.
As the Senior Field Service Engineer you will be required to provide support for installed radiological protection instruments (IRPI), Non Destructive assay and Spectroscopy equipment. You will provide remote technical support and carry out customer site visits to complete installation, commissioning and routine testing and repairs.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following day to day duties:

Provide Field service, Technical support and troubleshooting to customers
Inspect, calibrate, test and repair nuclear related electronical assemblies
Promote the services of the companies Service and Support activities
Maintain accurate records where necessary to comply with the requirements of the company's QHSE registrations
