Rullion are working with a leading engineering company within the Process industry, who are seeking a Project Manager to join their Projects team based at their client's Pharmaceutical facility in Cumbria.
You will be responsible for project Management activities on ongoing process improvement projects, as well as numerous new utility systems (air, steam, nitrogen, cooling water etc).
Role & Responsibilities
Activities include (indicative list):

Perform tasks as directed by Client Capital Projects lead on site

Ability to work on complex, multi-faceted projects independently and take accountability for ensuring delivery

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to meet their requirements (e.g. Production, Engineering, EHS)

Producing project proposals, feasibility studies, concept design and cost estimates for approval
-
Approval of work scopes, job packs, commissioning procedures etc
-
Supervision of multi-discipline design/engineering teams and contractors
-
Establishing and maintaining detailed project plans
-
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.

Project reporting on cost and schedule adherence
-
Bid evaluations and vendor liaison
-
Ensure full compliance with Clients processes and procedures
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Engineer discipline HNC/HND qualification, with > 10years experience
-
Individual will have executed previous technical projects within the Pharma industry
-
Advanced user skills in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Great organisational skills
-
Confident decision-making ability
-
Pharmaceutical industry experience is essential
-
Safety projects experience in complex process environments
This contract will be for 6 months, potentially more, and is required to start February 2021. You will be working 40 hours per week which will be mixed between on site and working from home.
