Pay: £28,430.04 - £32,799.24
Rullion are working alongside a major power network operator for the North West of England who are currently recruiting for an Energy Analyst to join them on a 1 year FTC. Our client is ready to carry out video interviews immediately and will hire as soon as possible.
Our client is aiming to lead the North West to Zero Carbon. The Energy Analyst has a key role in the delivering this aim, they will plan, regulate and monitor the energy use of the client and sites. They will improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and put in place changes where needed.
They will coordinate all aspects of energy management, from the procurement and billing of energy; reduction of carbon dioxide emissions; advising on sustainable development projects; and the implementation of energy innovations.
Knowledge and Skills
Energy Analysts are highly organised individuals who can prioritise tasks and complete multiple simultaneous projects on deadlines.
Highly analytical, Energy Analysts pay great attention to detail and have strong quantitative abilities. They're also decision makers and great communicators who can present complex information in a simplified manner.
Excellent IT skills essential
Excellent communication skills verbal, numerical & written
Experience of analysing data and producing solutions
Presentation skills essential
Ability to work across a diverse team
Energy market & energy procurement experience is desirable
Utility metering (SMART and sub metering) and best practices in this area
Energy monitoring and targeting for individual and multiple sites
Develop & deliver training, awareness campaigns and engagement activities
