What to know about this role?
The Infrastructure Analyst role will play an essential role in providing third line support of the Group's Infrastructure Estate, supporting the Infrastructure Manager & Lead Infrastructure Analyst to provide a great technical service to the business - ensuring that the business continues to function when issues arise.
You will have the ability to quickly diagnose escalations from the IT Service Desk at an expert level and resolve efficiently and in a safe manner.
Who do you report into?
You will report into the Infrastructure Manager/Lead Infrastructure Analyst who have done a great job to consistently deliver a technical support service across the infrastructure estate to include the following areas - datacentre/cloud services, WAN/LAN networks, server and Wintel hosting technologies, SAN and system operations/monitoring & O365.
They are both approachable, understanding & supportive who will look after you by providing all the tools necessary for growth and development as they want to give you every opportunity to grow and achieve your own ambitions - both technically & professionally.
What projects will you be working on?
Over the next 12 months you will be focussing on BAU work as well as the following projects:

Datacentre Migration

Microsoft Azure implementation

O365 Implementation

What skills & experience do you require?

Excellent interpersonal, written & communication skills with the ability to think "outside the box"

Good business & user experience awareness

You will have the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple technology areas

You will have had previous experience as a third line support analyst proficient with several of the following - Wintel, SCCM & associated technologies, networking, VMWare, O365, storage technologies.

You will have a proactive mindset, with a continuous improvement mentality - highly motivated to see success delivered via your efforts and collaboration with peers

Robust/up to date knowledge and experience of Technology delivery in infrastructure operations environment, particularly in datacentres

You will have experience of batch scheduling & automation tools

You will have the ability to work on you own initiative with minimal guidance
