JOB TITLE: Assistant Project Manager

LOCATION: West Cumbria

SALARY: £20,000 - £25,000 DOE

My client are a multi-disciplined consultancy, with a focus in delivering solutions to the world's most challenging Engineering projects. They have an industry presence in sectors such as; Wind, CHP, Biofuels, Energy from Waste, Tidal, Coal, Oils & Gas, And Nuclear Decommissioning.

ROLE INFORMATION

As Assistant Project Manager, you will be joining the team in West Cumbria, serving a wide range of disciplines, providing services to clients in both the public and private sectors.

You will work closely with the Senior Project Managers, to assist them undertaking Project Management duties to ensure successful delivery of sensitive Projects to time and budgets. In addition as part of your own personal development within 2-4 years you will be working towards your APM status.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

-Clear & Precise Communication Skills
-Reliable problem solving abilities
-Proactive
-Knowledge of relevant software packages (Microsoft Office)
-Basic knowledge of Finance/Accounting
-UK Driving Licence

IDEALLY YOU WILL ALSO HAVE:

-Ability to gain relevant Security Clearance
-1-2 years Major Project Experience
-Engineering Industry Experience
