What you'll be doing:
To assist with the Construction and Manufacturing project within the Power Transmission and Distribution business, you will provide functional leadership to Project quality resources and be the quality expert practitioner who can provide specialist support and a network of quality skills to support project delivery.
Typical duties would include:
Providing leadership to project quality resources
Ensure Quality Plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and associated processes are in place
Making sure that quality processes are clearly stated in Project Quality Plans
Ensuring systems are in place to allow sample and benchmark plans
Ensuring specification is clearly agreed and delivered with customers, customers technical representatives, project and sub-contractor supply chain
Supporting the delivery of Project and Business Stream quality programs and actions
Ensuring Project KPIs and metrics are in place that drive continuous improvement
Coaching and develop quality skills on the project, providing training and support
Supporting establishment of continuous improvement culture
Undertaking specific investigations and/or report on quality related issues as required
A relentless focus on Zero Harm and Defect Free Delivery (DFD)
Supporting the delivery of the Sustainability Blueprint
What we're looking for:
Experience in quality management in construction or manufacturing
Qualification in Quality Management
Demonstrated root cause analysis and problem resolution capability
Preferably trained ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and/or Internal Auditor
Either a CQI Member or working towards membership
Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
