Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Project Quality Assurance Manager
SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: £75K + might be able to get a car allowance of £4-£5k on top, bonus, pension, life, 5 weeks holidays + 8 stats + opportunity to buy 5 more days (Relocation package available)
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: ISO 9001: Internal Auditor, P4 Pass Holder and either already have security clearance or be able to achieve SC Clearance and Degree qualified chartered or Degree qualified membership of professional body
Ideally you would have 10-15 years experience
An experienced Quality Manager is required to lead a local team, taking accountability for the overall quality management of a major project / portfolio of multi-disciple projects from the initial opportunity, through the tendering process and delivery to project close out.
The successful candidate will have the ability to ensure compliance with policy, standards and procedures and work collaboratively with the client, partner organisations and the supply chain.
Applicants should have a proven track record in a visible senior role, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and have previous experience of building, leading and managing teams.
You will be familiar with quality management practices within the nuclear industry and have following experience / skills:
Applying and actively monitoring robust quality management practices
Development of QA systems applicable to complex nuclear projects
Setting and maintaining the quality strategy throughout the project lifecycle
Pro-active internal and external stakeholder management to build long term relationships
Leading quality related investigation and reporting
Familiar with the nuclear site licence conditions with a good understanding of the UK regulatory framework including being visible to the Office of Nuclear Regulation
Ensuring quality related risks are captured and mitigated
Knowledge of Nuclear Professionalism and Human Performance
Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
