Job Description

Our client, a market leader within the Utilities industry, is looking to recruit a Street Works Administrator on a full-time temporary basis for 12 months to work at their Warrington based site.

Successful candidates will be required to;
To be the primary contact for local Council's to report defective/dangerous apparatus (Section 81's). Contacts received via telephone, email or from the Insight system. Through effective questioning ensuring the correct response time is selected (SLA). Raise the work on our corporate system and track job progress escalating when appropriate

Job Accountabilities;
• Raising defective/dangerous Section 81
notices from the Highway Inspectors in District
• Liaise with Highway Inspectors for queries and
updates on work raised
• Liaise with Alliance Planners and Site Managers on
start dates and progress/updates on jobs
• Track and record all S81 work raised in case a
query is generated
• Analyse invoices generated by HA for works they
have undertaken on our behalf
• Investigate any written or telephone queries about
S81 jobs

Knowledge and Skills;
• Good knowledge of street works legislation and
management of defects, S74 responses and permit
• Must be IT literate with good keyboard skills
• A knowledge of Microsoft Office, WFM, SAP
• Good time management, planning and organisational
• Demonstrates good communication skills and team
working relationships within and across teams
• Produce high quality output

Working Hours;
Week 1 - 8.00am-4.00pm
Week 2 - 8.30am-4.30pm

Good communication skills are key, competency and confidently being able to communicate with people at all levels. Additionally, a flexible, adaptable, positive team player with strong organisational skills is essential. An excellent working knowledge of MS Applications is required.
