RATE: £40-£45 p/hr (ltd)

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING AND BE ABLE TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF:
Engineering degree or equivalent (HND, NVQ level 4).
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
Corporate member of one or more relevant professional institutions.
Significant experience post qualification covering a range of control system engineering, will include; technical design of the control system, coding of the control system, testing and commissioning of the control system at works and on-site.
Experience at following the specific development model for the control system for the Nuclear Industry.
Experienced with new and legacy control system hardware and software, e.g. SCADA, HMI, Networks, PLC, DCS, VSD, Servo.
Experienced with the major manufactures of control system hardware and software for the Nuclear Industry, e.g. Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB.
Highly experience (SME) within specific fields of control system hardware and software, e.g. RSStudio/ControlLogix, Step7/S7, Unity/Quantum, ABB 800xA/AC800, FactoryTalk, WinCC, Wonderware.
6 Month contract starting in May
To provide or deliver engineering conceptual and detailed design on all aspect of control systems; user requirements, detailed specifications and technical solutions in the delivery of customer funded task and /or projects. Will likely lead on the control system design and delivery as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design controls systems and to advise other design team members. Will be required to technically lead the manufacture of the control system and supervise the control system integrator in the implementation, manufacture and testing of the control system to final delivery.
