Job DescriptionRullion are representing one the UK's leading utility service providers, who are currently looking for a Bid Writer/ Coordinator to work out of either their Leeds or Oldham office. Our client is a major player in the utilities field covering the electricity, gas, water & telecoms sectors on mutli-million pound frameworks across the UK.
The successful candidate will join their Pre-construction team, reporting to a Bid Manager, they will be reviewing and editing previously written content as well as writing new responses. You will also liaise with other bid team members to produce written bid responses and prepare presentations in line with deadlines
Your duties will include:
Confirming the rules of the individual bid
Submitting bids within the required deadline
Writing original bid responses for tenders, Pre-qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and framework submissions
Presenting technical information in a user friendly way
Designing, writing, editing and checking bid documents
Researching about the client and sector relevant to the bid
Gathering evidence to answer PQQ questions
An understanding of bidding and prequalification procedure is a must.
Knowledge and/ or experience in Construction/ Engineering / Utilities / Facilities Management, however candidates from a service industry background will be considered.
A formal qualification is desirable but not essential (learnt by experience)
You should posses excellent communication skill, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail
A good working knowledge of MS Office.
