Job DescriptionMy large retail client based in Manchester is recruiting for an experienced Service Design Lead. You will be responsible for performing the Service Design activities to create processes and organisation to support new applications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing the Service Transition Activities to ensure controlled transition of new or changed IT Services from "build" to "run" to minimise risk and protect operational services.
Review and agree project definition documentation, identifying configuration management activities for all service deliverables within CPMM and all supporting Service Design Plans and ensuring the appropriate resource is identified, funded and secured
Understand and document the topology/architecture from business capabilities to applications and infrastructure
Create/identify, review and agree service levels and underpin Vendor contracts.
Describe and agree the Service Model - and all associated costs - to support delivery of the Service Levels, ensuring the adequate provision of service resource throughout the service lifecycle
To perform and/or agree the provision of resource to perform all service transition activities
Ensure all service acceptance criteria and KPIs are met within the warranty exit period
