9 ways to optimise your careers site to attract top talent

According to our recent survey of over 350 candidates, company websites is the number one source of information when researching an organisation before applying for a role. Your careers site is one of the first touch points that candidates have to learn more about your organisation and whether it’s right for them.

Making sure your careers site stands out is key to attracting top talent to your organisation. Not only this, but a careers site optimised for mobile devices, full of engaging content, and is easy to use and accessible is something candidates will shout about and really enhance their opinion of your organisation.

To help steer you in the right direction we’ve put together the following tips for optimising your career website.

According to CareerBuilder's 2017 Candidate Experience study (1), nearly 89 percent of respondents cited employer websites as a key factor when learning more about a company they’re interested in. “But only 45 percent of candidates say they can typically tell what it would be like to work for a company based on their career site.”
