Are you seeking a role which offers the opportunity to use your experience of service management to improve the quality of IS services?
We are seeking an experienced IS Service Manager to manage our existing ITIL aligned service management processes and manage critical day to day service delivery issues through to resolution.
Technology is important for TfGM, it underpins everything we do from supporting the Metrolink to providing online journey planners and everything in between. We are investing and scaling up our Technology function and want experienced and talented professionals who have the passion and drive to help us deliver better and faster using the latest technologies.
You will have experience of change management and managing external IS service providers against their agreed contractual service level agreements. You will have an excellent knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience in designing and implementing service level agreements and service management processes. Also important is experience of working in an Agile environment, working to tight timescales and displaying strong communications skills.
You will preferably be qualified to ITIL Expert (v3) or ITIL Service Manager (v2) level but we will also consider ITIL Foundation level. Ideally you will also have experience of delivering continuous service improvements as well as managing internal change processes to ensure core systems are highly available to the business and operating as effectively and efficiently as possible.
