Engineer in Test

We are looking for an Engineer in Test, this is our first permanent role within this practice for TfGM so you will be blazing a trail in setting the standards for this critical discipline as me move forward from traditional manual testing to automation.
You will be building the automation frameworks for a number of mission critical platforms such as our new customer experience platform being built in Dynamics365 or the Metrolink ticketing solutions, which are moving to contactless payments, developing intuitive user focused mobile apps that provide the right information to our customers when and where they need it.
You will be working in a structure which is setup for success using a product focused delivery team with other experienced like-minded professionals, who want to deliver value, quality and fast
In this role you will work closely with the Engineers and Tech Lead in understanding the best practices for test automation and then implementing them! The testing will focus around UI, API’s, and performance to ensure the team are delivering great quality.
You will be experienced with using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, Specflow and Gatling. Comfortable incorporating frameworks into build pipelines and have an eye for the detail, and champion good test coverage. Great code which is supportable, extension is our mantra so any TDD and BDD would be great also.
