Summary of the Role

We are now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Environmental division, with an emphasis on developing new business and regniting relationships with previous clients. This is a key area of growth for us in 2022 and beyond, and you'll be supported with a Resourcing team to assist with recruitment delivery.

We are happy for this role to either be 100% remote within the UK, or on a hybrid basis with any of our regional offices such as Altrincham or London, as well as on a 4 day per week basis / flexible hours.

Our salary guidance is up to c. £30k, plus commission scheme and a lucrative lead generation bonus for larger opportunities identified for the wider business. Key Responsibilities

We are keen to hear from experienced Recruitment Consultants with specialist knowledge of new business and relationship development. We have a longstanding reputation within this area, working with a variety of clients and key accounts to handle their Ecology / Environmental sector roles, and this person will be given a portfolio of key clients to identify any new areas for growth in conjunction with the wider team and Client Solutions department.

We have clear cut routes for progression and career paths available for both managerial and Principal Consultant roles, as well as into other areas of our wider business such as Account Management on the delivery / RPO / MSP side, or strategic client engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working within a specialist vertical market, you will be responsible for the full recruitment process, from developing relationships with new and existing clients, taking briefs from hiring managers, through to candidate qualification and managing the interview / offer process
  • Alternatively we are happy for this role to mainly be focussed on business development, with support from the Resourcers in the team
  • Use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools in order to proactively build your candidate and client network
  • Attending face to face client and candidate meetings
  • Identifying and capitalising on cross-selling opportunities for the Environmental team, as well as the wider business
  • Providing an excellent, professional service to clients and candidates alike

Qualifications, skills & experience

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant or New Business Consultant with proven exposure to recruiting
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge of the Environmental sector although we are happy to consider applications from experienced recruiters in other verticals, ideally from a contract recruitment desk
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport easily at all levels
  • Able to work autonomously with strong time management skills
