For me, the most important aspect of the whole recruitment process is the identification/ screening of quality candidates so whilst I understand that importance of rapid response and the need to fulfill roles within an agreed timescale, I will always deliberately take a measured approach to the qualification of roles. This will ensure that I deliver candidates who match every aspect of a client's specification, personally, culturally and technically whilst resulting in an improved talent retention rate for the client.
This is proved by the fact that only 10% of my placements are sourced from Job Boards in that I pride myself on my networking pools which are a sub-database of candidates who have passed key criteria, ensuring that I never waiver on the overall quality of my candidate. Furthermore, 20% of my placements have been made from personal referrals and as I know that respected individuals will propose quality candidates like themselves - once again I'm protecting our brand and service by delivering only the best talent available in the marketplace.
