RCP are delighted to announce that we have entered into a partnership with The Children’s Safety Education Foundation in sponsoring a class at a local primary school as part of the Junior Citizenship programme. The Children’s Safety Education Foundation exists to save lives and reduce accidents and injuries to children by providing young people with the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions about the risks and dangers they face in their day-to-day life. Since the CSEF launch in 2004 over 1.5 million children have directly benefited from experiential learning programmes that focus on prevention rather than cure.
These crucial educational resources are designed to encourage young people to respect themselves, others and the community on key aspects of personal safety and citizenship. Issues covered include drug and alcohol awareness; first aid; fire safety; bullying; peer pressure; hate crime (racism/discrimination); gang culture (knives & guns); self-esteem; personal safety (internet safety); crime reduction; domestic violence/abuse; vandalism and the entire spectrum of anti-social behaviour.
Rullion are delighted to support this important cause.
