Industry-leading nuclear engineering recruitment solutions
The nuclear power industry relies heavily on specialist engineering and technology. Whether it's maintaining or de-commissioning an ageing nuclear power station, building the next generation of reactors, carrying out nuclear research or reprocessing fuel, the industry has a long and busy future ahead. Today, nuclear engineering skills are in high demand and the number of experienced candidates in this sector is diminishing.
The nuclear industry relies on people with exactly the right mix of expertise and attitude to help key projects run to time and within budget. At Rullion Engineering we've got the candidates to meet those needs as well as the systems and services to provide dependable and carefully tailored nuclear engineering recruitment solutions for even the most demanding customers. Our robust process for supplying and managing classified workers is also borne out of the team's expertise and knowledge of the industry.
Track record
We've already worked closely with some of the leading names in the nuclear industry including Babcock Nuclear Services, Nuclear Engineering Services and the UK Atomic Energy Authority. We've supported all of our clients in the nuclear sector in meeting their recruitment objectives and providing them with skilled and experienced individuals who can contribute quickly to project delivery and meeting overall goals. In the nuclear sector, as well as in many of the other sectors that we operate in, it's all about the quality of the people we provide.
Sector-specific positions we've filled include everything from Applied Physicists and Remote Handling Engineers through to Safety Officers and Planners. Better still, we've always provided candidates whose skill sets make them perfect for a particular vacancy and whose personality matches the culture of the employer.
Nuclear recruitment project snapshot - Culham Centre for Fusion Energy
Requirement: 300 Agency Supplied Workers
Contract value: £12m annually
Key benefit to client: reduced costs, faster hiring
In 2006 we were awarded Sole Supplier status and responsibility for providing agency personnel to UKAEA's Culham Centre for Fusion Energy (CCFE). On the strength of our performance our initial 3-year contract was extended by a further 3 years - the maximum permitted. Over the course of this partnership CCFE has enjoyed a wide range of benefits including quicker time-to-hire, control and visibility, process efficiencies and the provision of suitably qualified individuals with the right skills and cultural fit, every time. This has been achieved by harnessing the skills and experience of our team on site. Crucially, Key Performance Indicators have helped identify and quantify the dramatic improvements our expertise has delivered.
