Carry out maintenance tasks on industrial boilers (primary role). Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks on LTHW & HTHW systems and associated equipment to statutory regulations and MOD directives. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work on Gas fired Boilers, Domestic and Commercial. Help with site Legionella prevention.
Must be capable of working alone and as part of a team. Able to deal with emergencies and breakdowns both in working hours and be part of a call out regime.
Under supervision, carry out the planned preventative and response maintenance programme and ensure compliance with management systems, relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
Have good fault finding skills.
Able to work unsupervised.
Provide information to supervisory and managerial levels to facilitate solutions to problems.
Consistently produce work to a high standard.
Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
Participation in the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.
To ensure that all works are carried out to Debut Services and Clients' standards, policies and procedures and expectations.
Skills & Experience required:
Has served a recognised apprenticeship and can produce evidence of such or has attained City and Guilds or applicable NVQ qualification with verifiable history. Conversant with gas boilers, HTHW and or steam systems and Calorifiers, associated valves and controls including Installation and maintenance.
Is able to attain Skilled Person status
Must have a 'can do' attitude and contribute to the team effort.
Must hold a full valid UK drivers licence.
Flexible in approach to roles and responsibilities.
Focused, motivated and enthusiastic.
Trustworthy with confidential information by being able to deal with confidential information in an appropriate and sensitive way.
Does not divulge information out of company.
